In ‘VTP’ pumps, the rotor on the shaft rotates eccentrically in respect to the outer body. The rotor comprises spring loaded plates which automatically compresses as the distance between rotor and body increases or decreases. The body has got sleeve which can be replacedas and when clearance become very large. The side where the rotor is on more distance from the suction. The liquid so comes in is gradually squeezed & finally pushed out from the other side of which is delivery of the pump. These are highly suitable for pumping thick liquid like molasses, tar, soap water, syrup & varnishes etc. |
